Cornelia has more than ten years of experience teaching students of all ages. She believes anyone can discover the joy of music-making. Her philosophy is rooted in strong fundamentals of technique, as well as a clear understanding of the music’s context and structure. Cornelia helps her students find appropriate repertoire and adapts her approach to the interests and skills of each student. Cornelia has been performing in schools and retirement communities since childhood. Recently, she has organized interactive performances at schools in rural Connecticut and brought hundreds of underprivileged students and their families to their first orchestra concert. At Juilliard, Cornelia has served as a Teaching Fellow for arts education classes taught by Thomas Cabaniss and Damian Woetzel.
